I have a player object that can shoot little sphere objects and simple blocks as enemies. When a sphere hits an enemy it sends a message to the enemy to dissapear and spawn a new one (cube) with the same settings applied. I use only logic blocks. I tried every setting of box collissions, changed the mass of the objects, set it active/passive, actor/ghost in almost every constellation. The sphere just does not hit the cube properly. Sometimes i have to hit it 10 times, sometimes it works as expected. Am i missing something?

I have uploaded the blend file at https://blend-exchange.giantcowfilms.com/b/6023/

EDIT: Placed the spawn point for the enemy closer to the player at https://blend-exchange.giantcowfilms.com/b/6024/

Edit2: It seems just the bullet was too fast. I slowed it down and it works (more) accurate. Should i handle bullets/shots differently? For e.g giving a HUD with a crosshair and if LMB is pressed just check if it points onto an enemy?

  • $\begingroup$ Can you show a picture of you logic bricks or share a blend file using blend-exchange.giantcowfilms.com? It would greatly help people figure out what is wrong. $\endgroup$ – Sazerac Mar 25 at 23:44
