I have a scene emulating a steady camera moving slowly, like searching. Once an object in motion is detected, it starts following it. The camera never stops moving.

The camera moves along Y axis only. I simply set two keyframes for the starting (keyframe 1) and ending (keyframe 50) locations. What I want to achieve is that once the camera reaches keyframe 50, it starts following a path in XYZ directions. I also added a 'track to' constraint which begins at keyframe 51 and it works fine.

I've searched and read about 'Follow Path' constraint. I've followed the advice to reset the offset by pressing Alt+G. However, it didn't work. The difference with my case is that the camera is already in motion and obviously has been moved away from the origin.

Can you please let me know your thoughts/ideas?

Thanks!
