I downloaded Blender 2.80. When I tried to do this I ran into a problem error 0x80010135 path too long. Found this was an unzip problem and installed 7zip. 7zip worked well to unzip Blender 2.80. But I have a new problem, When I clicked the blender Icon in the folder. It installed to the same folder, it was downloaded to. Not c drive. It did ask for a destination but I thought it was automatic. What I think I need to know is what destination to extract files and install blender to C drive. I have always downloaded to folders and not had problems. But currently my GPU crashes on rendering so I would like to get blender properly installed. Thanks

  • $\begingroup$ Rename it and copy the folder to whatever you like (doesn't matter, really). Also your GPU has nothing to do with your installation directory of blender. Suggest updating your drivers. $\endgroup$ – brockmann Feb 4 at 19:18
