I have made clothes for a character, i've already attached them to the armature and im able to move it, but the body mesh overlaps with the clothes mesh. I know that with a little of hard work, i can solve this overlapping issue with shape keys but i was wondering if there is some way to make the clothes collide with the body so it wont overlap?

Or if its not possible, at least, there is someway to make the collision physics work without using the cloth physics* (it'll make everything look awful)? enter image description here [EDIT: Everytime i use the cloth physics it just looks like this, idk why but it moves the mesh down and looks like this (Maybe its just because i'm using the version 2.8, i don't think its because of it, but just saying)]

...Or any other mysterious technique which i don't know but can work for avoiding the overlapping between clothes and body?

  • $\begingroup$ can you post a screenshot of the cloth looking awful with collision? I have the suspicion that your cloth is to close to the body. Maybe that image could help solving your problem $\endgroup$ – HenrikD Jan 17 at 15:12
