I am processing a video and speeding up some strips. The output is very jumpy, especially noticeable on strips where there is lateral movement (such as panning). I don't understand why: I am using a round number to do the speed up (double, triple speed…), but it feels like the output is dropping frames unevenly.

Strips with normal speed render properly.

How can I smooth out the output?

Thanks.

  • $\begingroup$ It actually seems to be a codec issue, only visible when there are fast movements. Using H.264 and constant quality rather than constant bitrate significantly improves the output. $\endgroup$ – djib Jan 14 at 13:11
