i did an animation of cars driving on streets to simulate a traffic scene. I have two bezier curves representing the streets with curve guides on them. The curves are placed parallel, the directions are contrary to each other. The cars are two separate particle systems. I placed the curves and cars to separate layers so that they dont't interfere. In one direction, the cars move quite well. However, the cars on the parallel street are flickering, which means they rotate and morph suddenly as if any other force comes into play.

What i did:

  • removed the other street to check interferences by the curve guides
  • changed particle settings for rotation and field weights
  • checked the curves on strange tilts

Is it possible that any objects from another layer or even another scene are causing this issue?

Hope someone can help me.
