I'm currently working on a 3D character which I sculpted with dyntopo. While sculpting this way is very nice and exactly what I am looking for, the mesh it generates is made of triangles and thus hardly useful for further processing. Automatic retopologizing unfortunately produces bad results, and I'm already about 5 hours in the manual retopology process, which is painstaking and not fun at all.

Is there a way in Blender (perhaps in 2.80 onward?) to have the freedom of dyntopo, but have it generate nicely laid out quads instead of triangles? Or do I have to switch to an external tool? I would very much prefer to do it in Blender.
