I’m trying to make a 3D Super Mario 64 like fan game using blender. I wanted to use the traditional WASD keys to control Mario(or Luigi) but for some reason when I use the A key to go left he does not rotate and face the way he is moving. Same for any of the other directions other than the direction right(D). Does anyone know not to make the character face where he is moving without mouse look controls. Thank you.

  • $\begingroup$ Sorrry but I didn’t quite understand....Could you provide a screenshot of your logic or upload the .blend file at least? $\endgroup$ – D_K Dec 2 '18 at 16:23
  • $\begingroup$ I assume you're just using the motion actuator to make the character move. If you want it to rotate to face the direction the character is moving, you'll also have to make an animation of the character turning to face each direction, and then activating those along with the motion actuators. $\endgroup$ – X-27 the fluffy unicorn Dec 2 '18 at 16:45
