I'm stuck in a legio range of blender settings and video tests and need an advice for best output setup -- mp4 or something else. I cannot get rid of blender-added banding when editing imported video sequences.

I here submit a "test bench-file" with imported m4v (output from Moho/Anime Pro). The source file appears less banded but output degrades a tad -- yet noticeable. Any clues will be very appreciated. Also opinions whether I'm too nitti-grittious or not ;-)
