I have a paint layer mixed with the original material using MixRGB set to multiply in order to add decals with the stencil brush. When i start painting, i am getting hard edges where the brush went over the boundaries of the stencil texture (from left to right) while other parts (top and bottom) remain smooth. How do i get all around smooth edges?

  • $\begingroup$ Are those hard edges the actual boundary of the stencil image? I find that a soft pressure can help with that, or in this case switch to Erase Alpha to brush that back out with a low power pressure brush. It is hard to maintain a soft transition if you go past the boundary, and it looks like you hadn't gotten to the vertical boundary yet. $\endgroup$ – Craig D Jones Aug 30 '18 at 3:44
