so I'm quite new to blender and am now using the subsurface modifier. However, it seems like it kind of creates holes, which weren't there before. Here are some screenshots:enter image description here

There are no double vertex and I have no clue how to fix that...

  1. First problem

The order of the modifiers is important.

In your example, the quarter is first smoothed by the Subsurf, then duplicated by the Mirror.

If you put the mirror first (with the arrows right to his name), the quarter will be duplicated, then the whole table will be smoothed.

  1. Second problem

You have an edge inside the model, it connects the vertex at the center of the hole, with a vertex above (the center of the table, i think). Removing it should fix the hole.

  • $\begingroup$ That did it, thanks :) I dont really know how that edge got there, but deleting did it. $\endgroup$ – RekTek249 May 12 '18 at 17:43
  • $\begingroup$ It often appends to me when I press F (create a face or edge) instead of G (grab) $\endgroup$ – thibsert May 12 '18 at 17:49
