I'm using GPU rendering for a year, but now a realised that my 980Ti is using half of GPU clock core and GPU memory. I mean exacly half. Is everything correct? I did a test with 2,79 and 2,80 version and everywhere i have half of the power (eevee and cycles GPU) in every scene. I also have problems with rendering using GPU+CPU because i can't find right tile size to have better results than with only GPU. I have i7 4770.

Do you recomend some test for the graphic card? Or maybe for whole hardware?

  • $\begingroup$ Please add vital information about your OS and of course how you measured the CPU/GPU usage. If you used Windows 10's built-in features, they aren't very accurate. Also consider that you never ever want 100% of your CPU and GPU being used for rendering, since your computer might become unresponsive and your OS might suspect that something is wrong with the software. $\endgroup$ – metaphor_set Mar 28 '18 at 4:14
