Jun 30, 2016 at 19:53 | comment | added | Duarte Farrajota Ramos♦ | Well sort of good-ish news is that I tested in a different file and it no longer seems to happen, so it may be something solvable by changing some settings in your file. I'll have to look into it later, I'm out of time right now.
Jun 30, 2016 at 19:45 | comment | added | QFSW | It seems like that. Is there really no workaround? the transparent background is rather crucial Also, thank you for editing it in for me
Jun 30, 2016 at 19:33 | comment | added | Duarte Farrajota Ramos♦ | Well it has something to do with the transparent background. Disabling it makes them both look the same not really sure why. Although that is not really a solution anyway. Seems related to this blenderartists.org/forum/…

Jun 30, 2016 at 18:32 | comment | added | Duarte Farrajota Ramos♦ | You might need to add more info to your question if you want a proper answer then. Maybe render settings, scene outliner screenshot, or possibly a link to download your Blender file
Jun 30, 2016 at 18:23 | comment | added | QFSW | It isn't. I tried creating a new lamp just in case but no luck
Jun 30, 2016 at 17:40 | comment | added | Duarte Farrajota Ramos♦ | Check under the outliner if you lamp object is not set to visible but non-renderable
