The outliner method seemed to me as the easiest one in this case, but you can do it in the 3D Viewport as well. Instead of using the shortcut M for moving objects in a different collection, you can use Shift+M to link to another one. Also in the Object Properties under Collections you can click on Add to Collection which lets you assign the object to more than one collection. | |
