The VSE now features a cache, and you should be able to cache it at the colour transformed state. All in all, the VSE is slow as molasses in winter as it doesn’t have background rendering, among a litany of other problems. Finally, the dumb LUT itself is a problem, given you can’t invert 3D LUTs, it turns into a search. This could be mitigated if you are interested. | |
